The Fly Shop’s Annual Opening Day Bash 2010 – As in every year, The Shop will host an Opening Day gathering of factory reps offering special savings, featured presentations and bbq Friday April, 23rd. Plan on attending, get a quick bite on your way north and see what they have to offer. I think it from about noon to 5pm…may start a little earlier. Reps will be there from: OutCast, Simms, Patagonia, Sage just to name a few. Should be a great time as always.

Opener Breakfast in Cassel: The Cassel Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary will hold its annual fishermens breakfast the opening morning of fishing season, Saturday, April 24, from 6-11 a.m. at the Cassel Center on Cassel Road next to the fire hall. The menu includes an all-you-can eat breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, tea and juice. A bake and craft sale, plus a raffle are also planned. The breakfast cost is $7 or adults, $4 for children ages 5-12, and free for those younger than 5. This is a fund-raiser for the fire company. For more information, telephone 335-5113.
